§ 50. Mr. Liptonasked the Minister of Public Building and Works why the air conditioning system in the House of Commons allowed fog to persist in the Chamber after it had begun to disperse outside; and what the cost would be of an efficient system to eliminate smog particles.
§ Mr. RipponThe present air conditioning system eliminates fog particles, but when fog is dense and persistent some fog gets into the Chamber as hon. Members and visitors come and go. The air conditioning system disperses this as quickly as can reasonably be expected.
