110. Mr. Millan

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland, if he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT, a statement showing the calculation of the total Scottish Exchequer equalisation grant for the year 1961–62, including the total relevant local expenditure for England and Wales, the total weighted populations of England and Wales, the total weighted population of Scotland, the notional relevant local expenditure in Scotland, the total amounts of the Exchequer equalisation grants payable in England and Wales, the rates burden for England and Wales, the population of England and Wales, the population of Scotland, the notional rates burden for Scotland, and the notional Exchequer grant far Scotland, all as taken into account in the calculation, and, where final figures for any item are not available, showing the latest provisional figures.
