asked the Lord Privy Seal if Her Majesty's Government will now remove the suspension on the export of arms and military equipment from Great Britain to Indonesia.

As a result of the negotiated settlement on the future of West New Guinea, Her Majesty's Government have decided that present conditions do not justify the continued application of this measure, which was temporarily imposed in January of this year.
