§ Mr. Crosland
asked the President of the Board of Trade if he will arrange for the publication of the names of those who submitted written evidence to the Jenkins Committee on Company Law.

§ Mr. Erroll
No. Nearly 400 persons and institutions submitted written evidence varying from a comment on a post-card to lengthy memoranda. I do not think that publication of the names of all these contributors would be justified. The Committee placed on record in their report their indebtedness to all who gave evidence, whether written or oral.
