asked the Minister of Transport if he has now reached a decision on the improvements to be made in the interests of road safety on the Bath Road, A.4, between Padworth and Beenham.

Mr. Marples

I am preparing an improvement scheme for the construction of a dual carriageway about 400 yards long on this part of A.4.

I shall fit this into my programme as soon as possible.
