Breconshire County Council has come to an agreement with the British Legion's Cambrian Factory at Llanwrtyd Wells for the provision of sheltered employment for severely disabled non ex-servicemen. Four are already in training. All local authorities in Wales have made provision for the sheltered employment of blind persons. Three (Cardiff County Borough Council, Glamorgan County Council and Swansea County Borough Council) are also providing sheltered employment for severely disabled sighted persons in workshops for the blind.
