§ Mr. Masonasked the Parliamentary Secretary for Science what steps the Atomic Energy Authority is taking to attract more qualified scientists and engineers from universities.
§ Mr. Denzil FreethI understand from the Authority that university students are encouraged to attend open days at some of their establishments, to see for themselves, and to discuss, the work going on there. Many of the Authority's staff give lectures to University Societies from time to time. The Authority also undertake a limited amount of factual advertising in journals read by undergraduates, describing the kind of work available in the Authority.
