§ 48. Mr. Benceasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what steps he is taking to provide maternity hospital facilities for the area of Clydebank, Bearsden, and Milngavie.
§ Mr. MaclayThe 192 maternity beds being provided at Yorkhill, Glasgow, and Vale of Leven Hospital, Alexandria, are designed also to serve Clydebank. Bearsden and Milngavie. The western regional hospital board is however giving further consideration at the present time to the maternity needs of this area.
