§ Mr. MarplesNo. The Railway Pay Committee of Inquiry—generally known as the Guillebaud Committee—was set up by, and reported to, the British Transport Commission and the Railway trade unions. The settlement reached between these parties on 24th June, 1960, took account of the conclusions of the Committee.
