§ Sir D. EcclesUniversity students assisted by loans from local education authorities in England and Wales in the three years 1957–58, 1958–59, 1959–60 numbered 105, 95 and 119, respectively. I cannot say how many of these students had been refused an award or how many of the loans were interest free.
