§ Mr. R. A. ButlerAt present nine visiting psychiatrists are treating 171 inmates at 23 sessions in each week at Wormwood Scrubs, Wakefield, Holloway and Pentonville prisons and at Feltham borstal. In addition, psychiatric treatment is provided by prison medical officers, many of whom hold psychiatric qualifications. The whole-time equivalent is not ascertainable.
