§ Mr. Boydenasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department the number of persons charged with offences relating to fireworks on November 4th and 5th in the Metropolitan Police district.

This total includes a number of charges of unlawful conduct such as obstructing the police, obstructing the footway and assaults on the police at places where fireworks were being discharged. In addition, 78 persons, among them a number of juveniles, were reported for summonses.
