§ Mr. Wiggasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will state the number of bookmakers' permits and the number of betting office licences that have been granted for the Metropolitan Police district and for such other areas in Great Britain for which the information is conveniently available.
§ Mr. R. A. ButlerThe numbers of permits and licences in force on 1st June in each county and county borough are given in a report to Parliament which is to be published on 21st November in accordance with Section 10 of the Betting and Gaming Act, 1960.
