Robinsonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many cases, in each of the three special hospitals, respectively, he has referred to Mental Health Review Tribunals for their advice; how many have been heard to date; in how many cases the tribunal advised discharge and in how many it adjourned the hearing; and whether he has in all instances accepted the advice tendered to him.
§ Mr. R. A. ButlerI have referred 88 cases from Broadmoor Hospital, of which 67 have been heard to date; the tribunal have advised discharge in two cases (which I have at present under consideration) and have adjourned six. I have not yet referred any cases from Rampton or Moss Side.
