§ Mr. WoodUp to 31st March, 1960, my Department sponsored research on fuel cells. It had then reached an appropriate stage for handing over to the National Research Development Corporation, which is now supporting the work. I understand the Corporation is discussing with industry the further research and development required. Other work is being carried out by the Central Electricity Generating Board and by private firms.
