§ 37. Mr. Marquandasked the Secretary of State for Commonwealth Relations what requests he has received from co-operative societies in Basutoland for help in obtaining credit facilities.
§ Mr. BraineThe Basutoland Administration have asked for a loan to finance an agricultural credit scheme through the co-operative movement and to provide loans to co-operative societies for building and other construction. ³80,000 has been made available for this purpose.
