Mr. Dribergasked the Minister of Education if, in view of the scientific importance of preserving rare species of fauna, such as the rhinoceros, which are in danger of extinction, he will seek to promote, through the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation, an educational campaign and an international agreement for this purpose.
§ Sir D. EcclesThe importance of the preservation of certain species of wild life is already well understood by U.N.E.S.C.O. which assists the work of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources to that end.
