asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs if he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT a full list of contributions which Her Majesty's Government have made to local relief funds for the alleviation of distress resulting from the recent flood disasters; and if he will make a statement.

I am, as requested, circulating the list in the OFFICIAL REPORT. Exchequer payments on account amounting to over £600,000 have been made to 22 local flood relief funds. I understand that most of the claims have now been settled and paid.
