asked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance (1) how many widows of ex-officers who retired before 1939 are in receipt of National Assistance.

(2) how many ex-officers who retired before 1939 are in receipt of National Assistance.

(3) how many widows of ex-Service officers and men, respectively, engaged in the 1939 to 1945 War are in receipt of National Assistance.

(4) how many widows of ex-Service officers and men, respectively, engaged in the 1914 to 1918 War are in receipt of National Assistance.
