asked the Minister of Health whether, and in what circumstances, bone-conductor transistor hearing aids are available under the National Health Service; and whether he has any proposals for the issue of combined spectacles and hearing aids.

Mr. Powell

Bone conduction transistor hearing aids are not at present available under the National Health Service but a Medresco aid of this type is being developed.

I have no proposals for supplying combined spectables and hearing aids.
