§ Mr. Dugdaleasked the Secretary of State for Commonwealth Relations if he will give details of the administrative action which has so far been taken in connection with the departure of South Africa from the Commonwealth.
§ Mr. SandysAs the House knows, all aspects of our future relations with South Africa are at present being reviewed, 159W and the conclusions reached will be announced in due course. Meanwhile, we have agreed with the Government of South Africa that the status of our respective High Commissioners should be changed to that of Ambassador.
