asked the Minister of Transport on what dates he had discussions with the General Council of British Shipping on the recommendations made in its survey Report.

Mr. Marples

I met the General Council of British Shipping on 8th February for an initial discussion of its Report and recommendations. Since then I have had various talks with its representatives on particular subjects and there have also been many discussions at official level. These discussions continue.
