§ Mr. N. MacphersonMy right hon. Friend is aware that British firms are investing in Common Market countries through the establishment of subsidiaries and otherwise. My right hon. Friend does not regard overseas investment by British enterprises in Europe or elsewhere as being a threat to employment in this country.
