§ 50. Mr. Tilneyasked the Postmaster-General how many pillar boxes are now available to the public which will take envelopes of an approximate width of 13 inches.
§ Miss PikeNone, unless the envelopes are folded. But, following a suggestion by my hon. Friend in 1957, all pillar and wall boxes are now being made with posting aperture 10 inches wide instead of the 8 inches or less used for the older boxes. So far, about 1,300 boxes with the larger apertures have been put up.
