asked the Minister of Health (1) when he expects to complete the membership of the Council for Professions Supplementary to Medicine; and whether he will make a statement;

(2) when he intends to establish statutory registration facilities for members of the chiropody profession; and whether he will make a statement.

Mr. Powell

The Council came into being on 1st July and met on 14th July. It is its duty to appoint the Chiropodists Board.

asked the Minister of Health (1) when he expects the Chiropodists Board to be set up under the Professions Supplementary to Medicine Act; and what is the reason for the delay;

(2) whether the membership of the Council for Professions Supplementary to Medicine is now complete; and if he will publish the members' names.
