§ 63. Mr. Spriggsasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many representations he has received from 160W people who object to the increasing use of footpaths for parking purposes in the London area, and the consequent danger to pedestrians; and if he will publish his replies in the OFFICIAL REPORT.
§ Mr. R. A. ButlerSince 1st January, 1959, some twenty-five letters on this subject have been received in my Department. The replies have in general explained that enforcement of the law is a matter for the police, and that they are doing what they can, within the limits of available manpower, to deal with the problem.
