§ Mr. R. A. ButlerThe answer to the first part of the question is that I do not have any current information on this matter. The responsibility for fixing hours of duty in the Fire Service rests primarily with the fire authorities acting in accordance with agreements reached on the National Joint Council for Local Authorities Fire Brigades. The answer to the second part of the Question is that I understand that the Huddersfield Borough Council have this matter under consideration.
