§ Mr. Coleasked the Minister of Transport (1) what grants were made available for new construction and major improvement of classified roads in each county and county borough in the Eastern Division of his Department for each of the financial years 1955–56 to 1960–61 inclusive; by what amount they were less than the amounts requested by each authority; and what amounts of unexpended grant money were returned to his Department from the Division;
(2) if he will give, in respect of new construction and major improvement of classified roads in each county and county borough in the Eastern Division of his Department, for each of the financial years 1955–56 to 1960–61 inclusive, a list of schemes costing more than £10,000 authorised during that period.
