§ 66. Mr. A. Lewisasked the Lord Privy Seal whether he is aware that, notwithstanding the Federal Government of Germany's declaration that they were to break off trade relations with the German Democratic Republic, these two countries have now signed a new trade agreement, even though the controversy on travel restrictions still remains; and whether, in view of this, he will now lift the restrictions preventing persons from the German Democratic Republic visiting Great Britain.
§ Mr. HeathIn view of recent developments in Berlin, Allied restrictions on the issue of temporary travel documents to East Germans have to some extent already been relaxed.
