§ 88. Mr. G. M. Thomsonasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he will arrange that adequate supplies of the Report of the Ashby Committee on Higher Education in Nigeria, the Adu Committee Report on the Civil Service in Nyasaland and similar reports from Colonial Territories are made available to hon. Members of this House.
§ Mr. Iain MacleodCopies of both the Reports named are in the Library. Members are also very welcome to consult them in the Library of the Colonial Office. On the more general question, there would be difficulties in the way of making all such reports freely available to individual Members, but since last year the great majority of all Colonial official publications have been sent by Colonial Governments to the House of Commons Library as a matter of routine.
Both the Ashby and the Adu Reports, and most official publications of the Governments of Nigeria as well as of Colonial Governments, can be purchased through the Crown Agents.
