asked the Minister of Health what consultations have taken place with local interests as to the future use of the smaller hospitals in the Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield district on the completion of the new Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield Hospital; and what decisions have been reached.

Mr. Powell

The work of the present Welwyn Garden City Hospital, the Maternity Hospital and the Physiotherapy Clinic at Hatfield will be moved into the new hospital. Decisions on their future use have still to be taken.
