HC Deb 17 February 1961 vol 634 cc164-5W
47. Mr. Biggs-Davison

asked the Prime Minister what resulted from his personal intervention in the Northern Rhodesia Constitutional Conference; and whether he will make a statement.

The Prime Minister:

I trust that anything I may have done will assist towards the satisfactory solution which we all desire. The Conference has, however, been primarily the responsibility of my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Colonies who hopes to make a statement shortly.
