asked the President of the Board of Trade how many inquiries have been made by potential tenants for the large Government-financed factory at Stockton-on-Tees; and what action is being taken to find a suitable tenant to take over this empty factory.

Mr. N. Macpherson:

This factory has been shown to five firms, and the Board's Controller for the Northern Region is continuing his efforts to find a suitable occupant. My right hon. Friend understands that the Stockton Borough Council is considering advertising it.
