asked the Civil Lord of the Admiralty what is the present rate of re-engagement for ratings; and in which branches this rate is lowest.

Mr. C. Ian Orr-Ewing

Sixty-five per cent. at the 12-year point. The branches with the lowest rates are radio electrical artificer (general service) at 42 per cent., engineering mechanics at 45 per cent., and electrical mechanics (general service) at 51 per cent.
