HC Deb 14 February 1961 vol 634 c126W
67. Lieut.-Colonel Cordeaux

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs whether he is aware of the unsatisfactory conditions which exist in some houses constructed for single families but which are now occupied by a number of families or lodgers; and what action he proposes to take to deal with the matter.

Mr. Brooke:

I am keenly aware of the problem to which my hon. Friend refers. I am laying a White Paper today which deals with a number of important housing matters, including this one, and indicate the Government's proposals for action.
