The following is the Answer:

Amounts pledged for 1961 to the voluntary funds of the United Nations as at 8 February, 1961, and subject to Parliamentary approval.

Expanded Programme of Technical Assistance 1,071,500
United Nations Special Fund 1,785,800
United Nations Relief and Works Agency 1,928,572
United Nations Children's Fund 335,000
United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees 100,000

Her Majesty's Government have also contributed S3 million to the fund for budgetary aid to the Congo and have undertaken to produce (subject to Parliamentary approval) a further sum of not less than $2 million in the early spring provided that a further examination of the requirements shows that further contributions would be appropriate, and that other countries are doing their share.
