asked the Minister of Education at what date he last received reports from Her Majesty's Inspector of Schools on the condition of the premises at St. Illtyd's Roman Catholic College, Cardiff, and Llandaff City Church in Wales School, respectively; what was the nature of those reports; and whether he will make a statement.

Sir D. Eccles:

Full inspection reports are confidential documents, but with the agreement of the governors and mana- children, which I have increased from the present maximum of £180 to £200.

The minimum grant of £50 per annum will normally be paid irrespective of parental income.

As I told the House on 1st December, the additional cost of these proposals will be approximately £10 million in a full year.
