Mr. G. Thomas

asked the Minister of Education which schools the Cardiff Education Committee included in its proposed building programme for 1961–62; which schools he eliminated from that list; and whether he will make a statement.

The programme proposed for 1961–62 was:

New Church in Wales Secondary School at Fairwater;

New Roman Catholic Secondary School at Cyntwell;

Extensions to Cyntwell County Secondary Boys School;

New County Secondary School for Girls at Leckwith.

The last two were not included in the Building Programme for 1961–62.
