§ Mr. Speirasked the President of the Board of Trade whether his attention has been drawn to the unemployment which has been caused in the vicinity of Nenthead on the Northumberland-Cumberland borders by the recent closure of fluorspar mines there; what benefit this area will receive from the Local Employment Act, 1960; and whether he will do all he can to persuade suitable new industry to become established in this area.
