asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he is yet in a position to sell Richard Thomas and Baldwins back to the public.

As my right hon. and learned Friend informed the House on 27th October, 1960, the Government have decided in all the circumstances to defer the sale of Richard Thomas and Baldwins until its present developments are nearer to maturity. I have nothing further to add.
