asked the Minister of Defence whether he has now accepted the proposals made by General Norstad for unified control over allied forces.

Mr. Watkinson:

I am not sure what the right hon. Gentleman has in mind.

General Norstad already exercises supreme command over allied forces assigned to N.A.T.O. in Allied Command Europe.
