I am glad to say that the D.S.I.R. have decided to offer three of these grants, namely, a nuclear reactor for the Scottish Universities, and two projects in radio astronomy—one for Professor Ryle of Cambridge University, and the other for Professor Sir Bernard Lovell of Manchester University.167W
An announcement about the remaining two projects which are for nuclear reactors, one for London University and the other for Manchester and Liverpool Universities, will be made later.
