Griffithsasked the Minister of Transport why he refused the request of the Carmarthenshire County Council for a pedestrian crossing at the junction 157W of Sandy Road and Denham Avenue, Llanelly; and whether, in view of the representations of the local road safety committee, he will reconsider his decision.
§ Mr. MarplesBecause the volumes of vehicular and pedestrian traffic were insufficient to justify the provision of a crossing. I see no reason to depart from this decision.
