§ Mr. HeathHer Majesty's Government are contributing £335,000 to the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund in 1961. In 1952, they gave £50,000. Using the United Kingdom consumer price index as a measure of the change in the value of the £, it can be said that the United Kingdom has raised its contribution about five and a half times above the 1952 level.
