§ 83. Mr. Farrasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will take steps to eliminate delays by the Customs authorities in their examination of machinery and parts returned by customers overseas for reconditioning in the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. BarberEvery effort is made by the Customs to ensure the expeditious clearance of such machinery and parts. If my hon. Friend has in mind any particular case where he thinks there has been avoidable delay, and will let me have the details, I will gladly have inquiries made.
