§ 28. Mr. Hiltonasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will state the number of accidents on British farms during the last year for which records are available; and how many of this number were fatal accidents.
Mr. Vane125 men, women and children were killed on farms in Great Britain in 1960. In the same year the Agricultural Departments were notified of 14,587 absences from work due to non-fatal accidents and industrial diseases of agricultural workers.
