Mr. Swinglerasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs if, in view of the shortage of suitable housing land and the urgent need to rehouse clearance tenants near their former homes, he will reconsider his Department's decision on Newcastle-under-Lyme Council's application to buy land in Second Avenue, Porthill.
