§ 1. Mr. Iremongerasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs whether he is aware of the risks to the public of fires in premises, such as those used by bingo clubs, the owners of which cannot be required to comply with the recommendations of the fire service authority; and what action he proposes to take to remedy the situation.
Dr. HillI have received representations about this and am considering, in conjunction with my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Home Department to what extent the existing law may require amendment.
