HC Deb 12 December 1961 vol 651 cc41-2W
Mr. A. Pearson

asked the Minister of Transport if he is aware of the dissatisfaction expressed at a recent meeting of the Pontypridd Urban District Council at not being kept informed upon broad details of important future road developments on the Cardiff-Merthyr Road lying within its area, and that information supplied by his Department to a brewery company upon the road improvement scheme was not communicated to the council; and if he will keep the local council informed of progress being made on the scheme.

Mr. Marples

Yes. I regret that, through inadvertence, some information was given by telephone to a brewery company before it had been conveyed to the urban district council. I have now written to the council and will continue to keep them informed of progress.
