§ 60. Mr. Gourlayasked the Secretary of State for Scotland on how many miles of roadway the 40 miles-per-hour limit is now operating in each of the four cities and in each county, in Scotland.
§ Mr. MaclayThe 40 m.p.h. speed limit is in operation on some 9½ miles of roads in Aberdeen, Dundee and the Counties of Lanark and Clackmannan. Proposals affecting about 30 miles in Edinburgh and a number of counties are under consideration.
